AWS Solution Architect Professional – I want to take this challenge first. The exam itself is for 3 hours. The questions are lengthy and the options too are. Definitely trains the brain to be focussed for a longer time.
Linux SysAdmin – The more new tools I learn on the DevOps or Cloud, they end up requiring the basics of Linux. Would be good to learn the Administration/Security fundamentals of Linux this year.
Kubernetes Admin – CKA : This certification is hands-on. For any application, when we think about scaling or high availability, Kubernetes takes the center stage. Eg. Manage Jenkins Nodes, Quickly spin a cluster of docker containers to test ansible/terraform. Also, I already have a voucher that expires this year. So, this one is on the priority list.
The next few are stretch goals and might be re-prioritized.
Azure Administrator AZ-104 – This is a pre-requisite for AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
Docker Certified Associate (DCA – Mirantis) – The exam format is interesting. There are 42 – DOMC – Discrete Option Multi Choice questions. Based on CKA prep, I might take this along.
AWS Devops Professional – DevOps is a must know for Architects and Developers. Understanding CI/CD pipeline on the cloud would give a fair idea about how certain processes can be automated/handled for different types of applications.
AWS Machine Learning Associate – This is on the wish list. I like AI and no doubt AI/ML/MLOps will be on high demand this year. Good to have this on your side too.
AWS Data Engineer Associate – Data is at the core for AI/ML. Collecting and preparing data is important for AI/ML tasks. Will be good to understand the types of data and how they are collected, transformed and stored
GCP and OCI associate level certifications are on the radar. I wish I could add more, do more. Lets get started. One step at a time.
